Tamper-resistant setup (Device Owner)
Optional child-app setup via wireless debugging. The child cannot disable or uninstall Safe Lagoon without a factory reset. Takes about 10 minutes and a computer.
How to install the orange Parent app
Install Parental Control - Safe Lagoon on your phone. This is the dashboard, not the child monitor.
Which app goes on which phone
Blue child app on the kid's phone. Orange parent app on yours. Use the Play links. Never uninstall to recover from a wrong-phone install.
🐞 Common Issues
Android 15 — Screen Mirror hides notifications
Android 15 redacts notification content while Screen Mirror is on. Turn Screen Mirror off. Protection otherwise keeps working.
Safe Lagoon stopped working
Monitoring usually stops because the phone killed Accessibility or background battery. Do not reinstall first.
Total time used exceeds the limits set
Whitelist, overrides, and the parent PIN are not counted the way people expect. OEM battery kills also under-report.
⚙️ Recommended settings for different devices
For other Android devices
Generic background-app fix when your brand is not Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, Huawei, or Honor.
For Honor devices
MagicOS is not EMUI. Allow autostart, disable battery optimization, lock Recents.
For Google Pixel and stock Android
Pixel, Motorola, Nokia and other near-stock Androids: Accessibility on, battery Unrestricted, Adaptive Battery off for Safe Lagoon.
