How to uninstall Safe Lagoon

Stop the child app with your parent password, then uninstall. Device Owner installs cannot be removed without a factory reset. Uninstalling does not cancel billing.

Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. Cancel first if that is the goal.

If monitoring "stopped" and you only want it working again, do not uninstall. Follow Safe Lagoon stopped working.

Child phone — Device Admin install (the usual setup)

  1. Open the blue Safe Lagoon app.
  2. Open Settings (gear).
  3. Enter the parent account password.
  4. Tap Stop App.
  5. Uninstall Safe Lagoon like any other app.
  6. Also uninstall Device Monitor / Call Manager (net.safelagoon.modulex) if it is still listed under Apps.

Forgot the password: reset it then come back.

Child phone — Device Owner (tamper-resistant) install

Stop App is not enough. Android will not let you uninstall a device-owner app. The only way off is a factory reset of that phone (you will wipe the child's data). If you are not sure which setup you used, email support@safelagoon.com before you reset.

Parent phone

Uninstall the orange Parent app like any other app. That does not unprotect the child's device and does not cancel billing.
