Android 15: notifications look empty
While Screen Mirror is enabled, Android 15 treats the phone as being recorded and redacts notification content (you see the app, not the message). Everything else in Safe Lagoon keeps working.
Workaround: on the child's phone, turn Screen Mirror off (Parent app or child Settings → monitoring / Screen Mirror). Notifications return. Full write-up: Android 15: Screen Mirror hides notifications.

Android 10+: capture dies after reboot
Android does not let apps keep the screen-capture permission forever. After a restart you may need to grant Screen Mirror again on the child's device. Avoid restarting the child's phone unless you have to.
Xiaomi: hidden "Don't show again"
On some Xiaomi / HyperOS devices the MediaProjection dialog has a Don't show again checkbox that is invisible. Tap the empty area of the dialog so capture can continue without prompting every time.
Black screens
Normal, not a bug:
- Incognito tabs, banking, Samsung Secure Folder, Samsung Pay, and any app that marks its screen as sensitive. Android blacks those out for every screen-capture app.
- A frame captured mid-animation can be grey or black. The next snapshot is usually fine.
Streaming apps refuse to play
Some licensed video apps (Hulu and similar) refuse to play if they detect mirroring. There is no workaround. Turn Screen Mirror off to watch, then turn it back on.
Rooted / custom ROMs
Broken image formats on heavily modified Android (old CyanogenMod-style builds) cannot be fixed on our side.
