Using the Android Parental app

Step 1. Open Safe Lagoon in Parent mode on your device.
Step 2. Select Location and tap Show on Map to see the last known location of your child’s device on a map.

Step 3. To add a place, just press the blue button with the plus at the bottom right corner of your screen.
Step 4. Instructions will appear. Click ok. A location circle will appear on your map.
Step 5. Press and hold center dot to move the location circle to the area on the map where you would like to create a Place.
Step 6. Once you have the center of the location circle over your place, press and hold outer dot to resize the zone to the diameter of your choosing.
Step 7. Choose an icon for your new Place and give it a name.
Step 8. Press the “Save” button.

Don't make the zones too small! This will cause false exit/entry events. The accuracy of the Location function is going to depend on several factors including GPS signal, battery strength, and internet connectivity.

Using the Safe Lagoon Safe Center

Step 1. Open any browser and go to the web center to login
Step 2. Select the "Location" Tab
Step 3. Press the "Find Me" button to update your child's current location
Step 4. Click "Add Place". A location circle will appear on your map.
Step 5. Press and hold the center dot to move the location circle to the area on the map where you would like to create a Place.
Step 6. Once you have the center of the location circle over your Place; press and hold outer dot to resize the zone to the diameter of your choosing.

Step 7. Choose an icon for your new place and give it a name.
Step 8. Press the “Save” button.
