On Android 15, the system hides the content of notifications (message text, OTP codes, and similar) while it thinks the screen is being captured.
Safe Lagoon's Screen Mirror keeps a capture-capable service around, so Android 15 treats the child's phone as "being recorded" even between snapshots. You still get the notification shade and the app name; the body is blank or replaced with a privacy placeholder.
Workaround (today)
- In the Parent app, open the child's profile → Screen Mirror settings, or on the child's phone open Safe Lagoon Settings.
- Turn Screen Mirror off.
- Notifications show full content again.
App blocking, schedules, web filter, location, and AI Shield keep working. You only lose Screen Mirror sessions until you turn it back on.
What we are changing
Capture should run only for the second a snapshot is taken, not for as long as the app is installed. No ship date. Check status.safelagoon.com.
Do not uninstall to fix this.
