Generic background-app fix when your brand is not Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, Huawei, or Honor.

If there is no dedicated article for the child's brand, do this on the child phone:

Settings → Accessibility → Safe Lagoon On.
Settings → Apps → Safe Lagoon → Battery → Unrestricted / no optimization.
Turn off battery saver, adaptive battery, and "optimize apps" for Safe Lagoon.
If the phone has Autostart / "apps allowed to run in background", enable Safe Lagoon.
Recents → find Safe Lagoon → Lock if the phone offers it.
After a reboot, open Safe Lagoon once so Android starts the monitoring service (Android 15 is stricter about starting from boot).
