On Pixel and other near-stock Androids (Motorola, Nokia, and many Android One phones):
- Settings → Accessibility → Safe Lagoon On.
- Settings → Apps → Safe Lagoon → App battery usage → Unrestricted.
- Settings → Battery → Adaptive Battery Off if the child phone keeps pausing Safe Lagoon overnight.
- Battery saver Off while you are testing.
That is usually enough. If the brand still has an extra "autostart" screen, turn it on for Safe Lagoon.
